ONE STORMY NIGHT (A Novella)
Evie loves to hunt, and she’s a better shot than any man. Scott is fun-loving and sexy, the perfect companion.
They begin their day laughing and teasing, but as the day progresses, they find themselves stranded with two flat tires and a storm brewing. The temperature drops and soon they are out of gas with no way to stay warm. Forced to leave the safety of their truck to find shelter, they take off on foot, trudging through the rain-soaked muddy road and blowing snow. When they finally reach a deserted farmhouse, it becomes the perfect place to wait for help.
But their interlude is interrupted with the arrival of three strangers carrying assault weapons. Watching from the safety of the farmhouse, they witness a murder. Evie and Scott must flee for their lives back out into the frigid, snowy darkness to hide. Only by relying on each other can they survive their ordeal.
